The rules. Plainly written.

1. Who you're agreeing with

These terms are a contract between you and WarBerryApps s. r. o. (trading as Codurra, codurra.com), a company registered in the Slovak Republic.

By creating an account or using Generate Invoice you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What we provide

2.1 Web invoice editor

A browser-based editor for generating, downloading and re-issuing PDF invoices. Includes reusable company profiles, a client directory and an item catalog. Available under a free Freelancer plan and paid tiers.

2.2 REST API + SDK

An HTTPS endpoint and an official Node/browser SDK (simpleinvoicing on npm) that accept a JSON payload and return a generated PDF. Same schema, same engine and same billing engine as the web editor.

2.3 PDF generation, storage and re-download

We render each invoice to a PDF on our servers and keep a copy attached to your account so you can re-download or share it later via a short-lived signed link. Generated PDFs are stored alongside their metadata for the life of your account.

2.4 Service level

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans but do not guarantee it. The free Freelancer plan has no uptime guarantee. The service is provided "as is" with no warranties of any kind, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.

3. Your account

You sign in with an email and password. You can reset your password by email at any time. You're responsible for keeping your password and your API license key secret.

You're responsible for all activity on your account and through your API license key. If you suspect either is compromised, change your password or rotate the key immediately from the dashboard.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Generate Invoice to:

• Issue fraudulent invoices, fake VAT documents, phishing payment requests or otherwise mislead a recipient about who is billing them.
• Process content that violates applicable law or infringes anyone's intellectual property rights.
• Impersonate another person, company, or tax-registered entity.
• Run high-frequency probing, scraping, vulnerability scanning or other automated abuse of our infrastructure.
• Evade volume quotas (for example by creating multiple accounts to bypass the free-plan invoice limit).
• Resell Generate Invoice as a white-label product without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section with or without notice. Reach [email protected] to report abuse.

5. Plans, billing, refunds

5.1 Pricing

Freelancer is free with a 2-invoice-per-month limit. Small Business is €2.99 per month for 100 invoices. Unlimited is €9.99 per month for unmetered volume. All prices are total and include VAT — no further tax is added at checkout.

5.2 Payment

Paid subscriptions are processed via Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles them under PCI-DSS.

5.3 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically every month. You can cancel anytime from the billing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

5.4 Refunds

Email [email protected] within 30 days of any charge and we'll refund it in full, no drama. Slovak and EU consumer-protection law may grant you additional rights.

5.5 Failed payments

If a renewal charge fails, Stripe retries for around 21 days while we keep your paid features active and email you a link to update your card. If retries are exhausted, the subscription is cancelled and the account drops back to the free Freelancer plan — your existing invoices stay accessible.

5.6 Quotas and fair use

Each plan has a monthly invoice volume. Hitting the limit prevents new invoices from being generated until the next billing period or until you upgrade. We may also apply short-window per-account rate limits to PDF rendering and uploads to protect shared infrastructure.

6. Your content

The data you put into Generate Invoice — company profiles, clients, items, invoice payloads and generated PDFs — is yours. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store and process it solely to provide the service (rendering PDFs, serving downloads, showing your history in the dashboard, etc.). We don't use your invoicing data for advertising, training, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to delivering the service.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the supplier, purchaser, item and tax data you enter and for ensuring your invoices comply with the tax law applicable to you.

7. What we own

The Generate Invoice software, design, brand, PDF templates and content (excluding your content) are owned by WarBerryApps s. r. o. and protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or rebrand the service without written permission.

8. Termination

You can close your account anytime from Dashboard → Account → Delete account. Deletion takes effect immediately: your active Stripe subscription is cancelled, the dashboard signs you out, and we remove your data — including invoices, PDFs, company profiles, clients and items — within 30 days, except billing records that we have to keep (see Privacy §7).

Warning: Deleting your account also revokes your API license key. Any third-party integrations using that key will stop working. If you want to keep historical PDFs, download them first.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if required by law or by a competent authority.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms — for any reason — is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (for example fraud, gross negligence, or statutory consumer rights).

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Disputes will be decided by the Slovak courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection venues available to you under the law of your country of residence.

11. Changes

When we materially change these terms we'll update the date at the top and email registered users a summary of the changes 30 days before they take effect.
